As one of Switzerland’s most respected film festivals, the Solothurner Filmtage offers a remarkable platform to introduce our story to the world. Road’s End in Taiwan celebrated its Asian Premiere at the Taipei Film Festival with a full house of enthusiastic moviegoers. The director, cast, and producer joined the screening, sharing the joy of the moment with the audience. Following the film, they engaged in a lively Q&A session, exchanging stories and laughter, making the night a warm and memorable celebration with exceptionally high audience engagement.

Synopsis
Damien grew up in Geneva, never knowing his father. At thirty-two, he suddenly learns that he is the direct heir of an Englishman living in Taiwan. Damien flies to Taipei where he meets his Taiwanese half-brother Steven. Their inheritance is suspended, on account of two other missing heirs. Damien and Steven set out to find them on the island. The road movie tells the story of two brothers’ quest for a father and for his money.

Born in 1972 in Geneva, Switzerland. 1997 Receives Arts degree from University of Geneva. 1999 Receives Sociology degree from social sciences faculty, Geneva and Kyoto. 2000 Receives degree in film from New York Film Academy. Since 2003 works as producer and filmmaker at Rec Production in Neuchâtel. Her feature film ROAD’S END IN TAIWAN is a first Swiss-Taiwanese coproduction.
