Synopsis
The day when her long-gone father suddenly reappears, Hui and her sister spent the happiest hours with him. However, when father announces that all of them are setting off on an abroad journey, Hui knows she’s forced to reveal the truth about her father’s mental illness.
Director Biography – I Hui Lee
A brief enrollment at the Film Department at Columbia University after graduating from National Taiwan University, where I-hui Lee got her BA degree in History, she shot her first fiction, The Menarche (2019), and was selected to Hawaii International Film Festival in the short film category. Her work concerns human ethics, time and memory relating to social class and gender.
